D'Shay Like Da Vinci

D'Shay Like Da Vinci of RVA got his first pair of 9'z when he was 9 yrz old: his age has matched each annual release from the Jordan brand to this day.  His love for kickz is different; not being a heavy collector, but more into celebrating the art of them & all the dope concepts they breed.  His first gig outside of a 9 to 5 was assisting at paint parties...so he started throwing his own.  The parties needed munchies. So, he got with a gourmet popcorn company to make his custom flavors.  As a 10-year career bartender, it was only right to come out with Kick Crazy Winetails for the party goers, a collab with local company Shoe Crazy Wine.  Though being a potential great hip hop artist all througout the process, the typical cypher couldn't hold his attention so he started rapping about sneaks.  Gaudy gold jewelry wasn't for him either, so he made his own to match every new pair.  The jewelry was unique & soon became a business....but the problem was, it appeared a little flat on his vendor tables, so he employed artists to let him display their work on consignment.  All of this to say Icing On The Kickz was born organically and is literally D'Shay's LIFE on a site! @dshaylikedavinci

Steve Alvara

Steve Alvara has had a love for art since 7, when a fascination for comic books came about.  Drawing simple cartoon characters was easy for him to master.  This served as a perfect, early training ground to become who he is today: an artist who can paint anything he sees.  His 2 favorite artists are Michaelangelo & Leonardo Da Vinci; ironically in 2019 he would post an ad offering art lessons, and D'Shay Like Da Vinci of IOTKz would respond, needing art lessons to guide attendees at his paint & sips.  But once D'Shay saw Steve-O's sneaker art look so real that you could almost grab it off the canvas, he new his art would thrive in the sneaker world.  4 years later, they have collaborated on countless pieces of art.  Aside from IOTKz, Steve proudly owns Paint Works plus, a company specializing in commercial & residential painting, murals and anything you can see; ) @stevesart4u

Nae Custom Kicks

Hey everyone, I’m a 23 year old entrepreneur and I have been doing art for as long as I can remember. I started with drawing for fun around the house to doing drawings and pictures for kids in my middle school. Later, picking it back up in 2020 painting on canvas’s onto making shoes the actual canvas. I started doing shoes as a way to showcase my art for that any audience of any age can participate in. Although it has not always been easy, it’s people like D’ Shay and others who take a chance on me and believe in me that keep me going. It brings me great joy seeing the smiles on people’s faces when they see their vision come to life and knowing I was able to do that for them with the gift God has blessed me with. @naecustomkicks
